As part of Chevrolet's centennial, 1,143 customers in Korea created the largest Chevrolet logo ever and set a new Guinness World Record. It happened, according to GM, in Pyeongchang, Gangwon.

Ankush Arora, GM's Korea VP sales and marketing said consumer awareness of Chevrolet, which has been in the Korean market for about half a year has grown to 98%.

Chevrolet entered the domestic marketplace on March 1 when it took down the Daewoo marque and replaced it with the Chevy bow tie, then launched a brand ad campaign. GM Korea has also expanded and upgraded its nationwide dealer network.
