Citi Cards and American Airlines are adding to the Citi / AAdvantage credit card portfolio that has served millions of card members over the last 24 years.

The Citi Executive / AAdvantage World Elite MasterCard, available for a $450 annual fee, offers elite-level travel services and experiences to American's flyers. The card includes: Admirals Club membership privileges, no foreign transaction fees on purchases, waived baggage charge for first domestic checked bag and concierge service.

In addition, the new card offers a once per year AAdvantageElite Qualifying mileage-earning opportunity, based on annual card spend, to put cardmembers on the fast track to American Airlines AAdvantageelite status membership. Later this year, Citi plans to introduce the Citi Executive/ AAdvantage card with EMV chip card functionality to provide cardmembers with the ability to use a technology that is increasingly important when making credit card purchases abroad.--Tanya Irwin
