The organisers of the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival announced that as part of the Festival’s Jubilee celebrations, PHILIP H. KNIGHT, Chairman of the Board, CEO and Co-Founder of Nike
Inc., will be awarded the “Advertiser of the Year.” This prestigious award will be presented to him at the Festival, on the evening of June 21st. Philip Knight previously received this award in 1994.
This honor recognises not only the quality of Nike advertising but also its major influence on creativity and lifestyle of the last decade.
