USA Network announced Tuesday that production is underway for a two-hour movie based on the inside story of the serial killers who killed ten people in the Washington D.C. area last fall. The film
will be directed by Tom McLoughlin ("Murder in Greenwich," "The Unsaid," "Anya's Bell") and is scripted by David Erickson ("Murder in Greenwich," "Beauty & Power"). Orly Adelson ("The Truth About
Jane," "One True Love," "The Triangle," "On Hostile Ground"), President of Orly Adelson Productions, will executive produce the project. Newsweek reporter Michael Isikoff, who covered the story
extensively, will serve as creative consultant. The film is scheduled to air this spring. "Last year, a brutal series of sniper attacks in suburban Maryland created a wave of terror that swept through
our country," said Jeff Wachtel, Executive Vice President Series and Longform Programming, USA Network.
