Farmers Insurance is launching another partnership with Zynga, this time via its "Cityville" game. The Los Angeles-based insurance company claims to be the first insurance company to launch a multi-game online campaign.
Social media gamers will have the opportunity to add replicas of the famed University of Farmers, the Farmers Airship and Farmers one-of-a-kind “AutoBoatHome” to their dream cities.
"Cityville" is the fourth Zynga game for Farmers to be involved with this year. It follows promotions in "FarmVille," "Mafia Wars" and "Café World." Farmers set a new Guinness World Record for most “likes” in a 24-hour period during its FarmVille promotion this summer.
Farmers also is launching a “Manhattan Madness” sweepstakes, open to the general public, which offers the winner a wonderful weekend NYC. This sweepstakes runs until Nov. 18. Players can enter to win by “liking” Farmers Insurance at Facebook.com/farmersinsurance.--Tanya Irwin
