NBCU Taps MTV's She As CMO, Entertainment & Digital Nets
MTV vet John Shea has joined NBCUniversal’s Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media Division in the new position of executive vice president and CMO of Integrated Media. He will report directly to Lauren Zalaznick, Chairman of the division.
For the first quarter of the year, Shea served as the Integrated Media group's “CMO in Residence" – a quarterly rotation program which taps the talent of top executives who have shaped marketing and advertising for the industry.
He spent the majority of his career at MTV Networks, where he oversaw integrated marketing divisions across the company’s suite of music and logo channels (MTV, VH1, CMT, Logo), as well as the company’s digital sites.
