Blockbuster: Free Batteries For Christmas

Blockbuster, which will be open from noon to 10 p.m. on Christmas anyway, hopes to drive traffic with a Dec. 25 battery give-away promotion. The chain will offer two packs of free batteries (either AA or AAA) to all those forgetful parents who missed the “batteries not included” line on gifts this year. And, of course, while there, shoppers can also grab last-minute gifts, including movies, video games and HDMI cables.
