Discovery en Espanol Offers Special Anniversary Programming

Discovery en Espanol will roll out a month of special programming to mark its fifth anniversary. It will include U.S. premiere presentations of original documentaries as well as encore presentations of other shows. Momentos de Discovery ("Discovery Moments") will kick off Friday, June 3, and continue through the month every Friday and Saturday evening. "In the past five years, Discovery en Espanol has become the premiere destination for Spanish-language documentaries, specials and educational programming. This month long celebration will highlight some of the outstanding specials we have featured on the network, and also give viewers a peek into the future of Discovery en Espanol," said David Karp, SVP/general manager of Discovery en Espanol. "We have a lot of new, original programming scheduled for the rest of the year and in June, viewers will get a taste of what they can expect in the coming months," Karp said.
