Canon "Legends In Imaging" event in October is getting a presentation tomorrow at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Canon will be unveiling the "crowd-sourced" music video, which is on
Canon's Facebook page.
The company collaborated with jazz legend Herbie Hancock to launch a music video generated from 1,800 crowd-sourced images for Hancock’s signature tune,
“Chameleon.”
At the launch event, Canon invited guests to photograph Hancock’s performance of “Chameleon” with Canon cameras. The photographs were then
synched with a live audio recording of the performance for a stop-motion video.
Grey New York produced the music video. Alliance, the entertainment and lifestyle marketing division of
Grey, is managing the partnership with Herbie Hancock and executing the public relations efforts.
