Clear Channel Names Dorsey To New Mobile Post

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has named Kevin Dorsey to the newly-created position of president of traffic, navigation and mobility. Previously president of national advertising platforms at Clear Channel, Dorsey in his new role will oversee the continued integration of Metro Networks with Clear Channel’s Total Traffic Networks.

In that regard, he will further develop broadcast traffic reporting, online traffic mapping, custom routes and personalized mobile navigation.  His responsibilities will also include building integrated connections with on-the-go consumers over the air, online and via mobile. Based in New York, Dorsey will report to Charlie Rahilly, Clear Channel’s new head of national ad platforms. Prior to joining Clear Channel, Dorsey led business development for the CBS Local Digital Media group.

Clear Channel separately on Monday said it would add college radio stations to its digital iHeartRadio service. The new programming will launch with streaming from more than a dozen college radio stations including DePaul University's Radio DePaul, Temple University WHIP, and Stanford University's KZSU.
