John Battelle points to a Twitter tweet that got Leigh Bryan and Emily Banting in hot water. Border Patrol agents waited to speak with the two British citizens when they arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport. Reports claim a telephone call tipped off Leigh's Tweet -- "Free this week for a quick gossip/prep before I go and destroy America?" sent to friends before their trip. While law enforcement denies it, Battelle asks readers their thoughts regarding whether social media is monitored by the U.S. government.
