Tyson, Bud Light Team on March Madness Retail Promo

  • February 16, 2012

Tyson Foods' wings and Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light are partnering on a retail promotion designed to encourage NCAA Tournament fans to buy the products for game-watching snacking/thirst-quenching.

Between March 5 and April 13, a co-purchase of Bud Light and two pounds or more of Tyson Wings or Tyson Boneless Wings (located in the deli department of grocery stores) qualifies the buyer for $2 off on the wings. A purchase of just two pounds or more of the wings, sans the beer, qualifies for $1 off the wings.

Tyson will spotlight the deals with in-store promotional materials including counter cards, posters, door clings and the appropriate coupon tear-pad for each state. Where possible, Bud Light will co-promote the Tyson wings/co-buy deal in beer aisles with signage and coupons.

In addition, registrants on Tyson's DeliAnytime.com will be able to download and print a bracket to track their teams through the tourney, and users of the DeliAnytime Facebook page will be able to play a free-throw game for a chance to win more savings from their grocers' delis. - Karlene Lukovitz
