Fine Living Celebrates First Anniversary On Air

Scripps Networks’ Fine Living celebrated its one-year anniversary Monday following a 2002 that featured double-digit advertising growth. When the channel launched in March 2002 with all-original programming, it attracted 30 national advertisers including Diet Coke, BMW, Prudential and Viking. There are now more than 70 national sponsors. New launches in 2002 include Las Vegas, Houston and Rochester, N.Y., to bring the channel’s distribution to more than 14 million subscribers on cable systems and nationwide to DirecTV subscribers.
