Solve Media, a digital advertising firm, is trying to please advertisers and video watchers who don't want the ads that delay their content.

The company is launching a technology that lets users skip video ads by typing the slogan, jingle, or "brand message" of the company whose advertisement they're currently watching. The tech rolls out immediately with pilot partners AOL, Expedia, General Motors and others.
