Sometimes, the simplest things can bring a smile to one’s face. That’s the idea behind Coca-Cola’s Sitelets. Shortly after Coca-Cola transitioned to Facebook’s Timeline business page, the brand reached 40 million “Likes.” And so began a set of mystery riddles. Here are the first two, posted only on Coca-Cola’s Facebook page. The second site went to BlowingBubblesInTheSky.com, where fans can blow bubbles in a cloudy, blue sky using their computer’s microphone. Created by Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, the Coke Sitelets were designed to “provoke small moments of happiness and make people smile.” Each Sitelet takes six weeks to produce, from start to finish. Solving these little riddles takes significantly less time; Coke said fans start guessing the moment the riddles are live on the site. No prizes are awarded to the first fan that solves each riddle and more mysteries will be posted over the next two months.
