Lynn Teo has been appointed chief experience officer at Interpublic Group’s McCann New York. Previously, Teo was the head of user experience at digital shop AKQA. In her new role, Teo is tasked with building the agency’s first experience design department. Its focus is to shape products, services, systems and communications that create integrated customer experiences.Teo will also be responsible for developing and communicating McCann’s point of view on the current and future state of experience design. She will report to Hank Summy, president of McCann Erickson North America. Earlier, Teo held dual roles at SapientNitro, directing teams in New York and London.
