Starbucks To Open Cafes at Disney Theme Parks

  • April 23, 2012

Starbucks will soon open cafes in all theme parks at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. and Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The first of six cafes will open at Disney California Adventure this summer. The other five are planned for Disneyland Park and Walt Disney World Resort, including locations at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Up to now, Starbucks's relationship with Disney was limited to one store in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris.

The first U.S. Starbucks cafe at Disney California Adventure will be located in the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street, which has a 1920's Los Angeles theme (the period during which Walt Disney arrived in California). Starbucks barristas will wear 1920's-inspired attire, according to the company.

In addition to Starbucks beverages, sandwiches and pastries, the cafe will offer Disney signature items, including sandwiches, desserts and treats.
