JWT Re-Brands Minneapolis Office Digitaria, Expands Midwest Footprint

  • April 23, 2012

WPP flagship JWT has re-branded its Minneapolis office as an office of Digitaria, the San Diego-based digital agency it acquired nearly two years ago. It became its central digital marketing services hub. The Minneapolis office was a dedicated digital shop servicing clients such as UnitedHealth Group. The move is another indication of the growing importance Digitaria is playing within JWT. It's also a symbolic expansion for Digitaria CEO Dan Khabie, who is a Minneapolis native.

Materially, the move expands Digitaria's organization by about 40% to 210 people, and adds an important Midwest outpost, complementing other regional offices in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.

I have been living in Minneapolis for 5 years. I am working for Minneapolis web design firm. So, I know about the JWT so well. Minneapolis is really a good place for living and working. However, opening a marketing firm there can get high competition.
