Red Herring Launches Research Unit

Red Herring has launched Red Herring Research, a market research unit examining innovation and technology. Red Herring Research will deliver reports that offer detailed analyses of emerging technologies and informed opinions on the issues affecting the global technology industry. The first series of Red Herring Research reports offers profiles of the cable, electronic design automation (EDA), fiber-to-the-home, and voice-over-IP industries. Before the end of the year the Research unit also plans to address topics including electronic games, homeland security, microelectromechanical systems, and radio frequency identification. Report pricing will range from $295 to $995. In addition to the unit's own reports, Red Herring also plans to offer relevant reports from other select research firms.
