LAUNCH, Yahoo's online radio arm, has tapped Interep as its Internet radio rep. Ronning/Lipset Radio, the new venture of radio and online sales veterans Andy Lipset and Eric Ronning, will lead the LAUNCH sales efforts through a joint venture with Interep. "Launch has demonstrated its ability to deliver audience," said Lipset. "The ability to take that property and bring it to traditional advertisers makes a lot of sense from an audience standpoint and a brand-recognition standpoint. You don't have to be a brand guru to understand what Yahoo means within the online world." According to Arbitron, a monthly CUME audience of 2.1 million listeners streamed almost 16 million "total time spent listening" hours of music in September from LAUNCH's library of more than 250,000 songs.
