Half Of iPhone Users Would Buy Apple TV
May 15, 2012, 4:23 PM
Despite the fact that Apple’s television is mostly Internet chatter and speculation, nearly half of existing iPhone users would be very or somewhat likely to buy one shortly after its launch, according to a survey of 6,000 consumers by Strategy Analytics.
Of the many details yet to be known about an Apple-branded TV, the biggest consideration for consumers would be price. According to the survey, 35% of U.S. consumers said they would be willing to pay $1,000 or more for an Apple TV, but only 14% said they would be willing to pay more than $1,600.
