VivaKi Takes Manhattan (Thankfully, Not This Week)
During a week in which it seems everyone is taking Manhattan -- TV networks, Internet companies, heck, even MediaPost -- Publicis' VivaKi Ventures unit just announced plans to "take" it on June 13.
The take: A one-day event showcasing companies, platforms and technologies that are changing the way VivaKi's clients "connect to consumers."
"VivaKi Ventures is our answer to making sure we have the right intelligence to help our clients stay ahead of the curve," the agency unit says in its invitation.
The Manhattan event, part of a semiannual series, is designed to help VivaKi agencies, clients, and apparently members of the press, to network with start-ups and venture capitalists.
The event will also feature some top VivaKi visionaries, including Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer Rishad Tobaccowala.
