Dentsu Network disclosed Friday its acquisition of Montreal-based creative advertising agency Bos. The deal will merge the shop with Dentsu Canada, based in Toronto. The merged entity will operate under the name DentsuBos. Terms were not disclosed, but various reports indicated Bos earned $22 million in revenue last year. Effective with the merger, Michel Ostiguy, president and CEO of Bos, has been elevated to CEO DentsuBos and president DentsuBos Montreal. Bob Shropshire, who has been CEO Dentsu Canada, becomes chairman of the new entity. Claude Carrier, executive vice president of Bos assumes the role of president, DentsuBos Toronto and Roger Gariepy, also EVP at Bos becomes Chief Creative Officer DentsuBos.
