Church's Chicken Names Crews EVP, CMO

Robert Crews has been named EVP and CMO of Church's Chicken, reporting to Church's president/CEO Jim Hyatt.

Crews will be responsible for marketing, advertising and new product development, with an integral role in strategic growth and positioning of the Church's brand.

Crews joins Church's from Wendy's Company, where he led the international marketing team and product development.

Previously, he founded C Results Marketing, consulting on profitability enhancement through pricing strategies for major restaurant brands including Arby's and California Pizza Kitchen.

Crews has also served as CMO at Sonny's Franchise Co., a mid-scale BBQ concept; and as CMO at Grill Concepts, Inc. (parent of casual-dining brand Daily Grill and fine-dining brand The Grill on the Alley).

Church's Chicken is one of the world's largest QSR chicken concepts, with more than 1,700 locations in 22 countries, and systemwide sales of $1.2 billion.
