InteractiveTV Today's Sixth Annual TV of Tomorrow Show

The sixth annual TV of Tomorrow Show, hosted by InteractiveTV Today, will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on June 12 and 13. The TV of Tomorrow Show focuses exclusively on the delivery of interactive TV on multiple platforms such as cable, satellite, tablets, Web, mobile, game consoles, and more.

There will be over 150 highly qualified speakers at the event. The highlight speaker is Tony Werner, EVP and CTO of Comcast Cable. “He is one of the most important CTOs in the world,” said Tracy Swedlow, CEO, Editor-in-Chief, and Executive Producer of TVOT. “He is certainly [one of the most important] in the country.”

Other big names include Scott Dunlap, VP of Emerging Opportunities at PayPal, and Lisa Hsia, EVP of Bravo Digital Media. The MysterGuitarMan, whose YouTube channel has garnered over 300 million total views, will also speak.

New to the TV of Tomorrow Show this year is an interactive second-screen experience for all attendees powered by TVplus. During each of the show’s sessions audience members will be able to access background information on each speaker and panelist, receive additional details of information about the content being discussed live, and actively participate through polls and voting.

The events of this week’s show will not be broadcast live anywhere online, Swedlow said. However, people not in attendance can still follow along on Twitter by using the hash tag #TVOT12.

Despite missing out on the action this week, east coasters won’t have to wait too long for the TV of Tomorrow Show to come their way. Swedlow said that there will be a TV of Tomorrow Show in New York City in early December.
