Just Rebrands As Carat Enterprise, Specialty Focus
Just International, the Aegis Media London-based business-to-business media agency, has been rebranded as Carat Enterprise in preparation for global
expansion. Aegis describes the rebranded shop as the first specialty media planning and buying network focused on the technology and finance sectors.
The rebranded B-to-B shop will be headquartered in the UK and led by Stuart Giddings as global managing director. Before joining Aegis Media in 2010 to run Just International, Giddings was North American president of London-based media agency DWA.
“Digital technology has transformed B2B communications,” stated Giddings. “Clients are increasingly demanding integrated solutions to target business decision-makers through bought, owned and earned media, no matter where in the world they happen to be.”
The rebranded agency has established offices in San Francisco and Singapore. Liam Blackwell has been named the regional director who will lead the Carat Enterprise Americas operation. Previously, he was executive vice president of global sales for the UK publication The Register.
Angela Loh has been named regional director of the Carat Enterprise Asia-Pacific region. Previously, she was business development director, Asia-Pacific region for WPP’s Maxus.
The shop’s services include strategic planning for an array of media, including print, search, social and mobile. The agency said it would use sibling agency Isobar as a resource on some client work requiring digital expertise. It will also receive support from sibling specialist Posterscope for certain out-of-home assignments. In some cases, home agency Carat will lend startup assistance for print assignments.
