Gap's Athleta Summons Yogis Again
Gap says its Athleta brand will again sponsor free “Mind Over Madness” yoga classes in New York’s Time Square to celebrate the longest day of the year. Four free classes are scheduled for June 20th -- the longest day of the year -- beginning at 7:30 a.m., and finishing at 8:30 p.m.
Athleta is scheduled to provide free yoga mats to the first 1,500 people who check in for each class, and event attendees will also have access to one-on-one yoga instruction.
Other giveaways are scheduled, as is a yoga fashion show, sponsored by Athleta. New this year, Athleta says its stores will also hold a free yoga class on June 20, with each store giving away one free Athleta yoga outfit and yoga mat.
