Gen Z Worries About Money

The financial habits of people aged 13 to 22 are the topic of a new survey by TD Ameritrade. Both Gen Z and their parents listed jobs and unemployment first when asked to identify their biggest concerns about the economy, mentioned by roughly a quarter of both groups. Thirty-nine percent of Gen Z said they are concerned about affording college and having student loans, though the top concern was having their identity stolen, indicated by 40% of Gen Z respondents.

    When young people start to understand what is money and how important it is today then lots of questions appear on their minds. Most of them set the education as a priority and of course they want to know how it’s possible to afford paying for college. The unemployment rate in the US and Canada is quite high today and that’s why young people worry that they will be unable to get a job. Also they see that consumer debt grows and people often use credit cards, personal loans and Canadian pay day loans from North'nLoans to stay afloat. But I would say that it’s good that young generation concerned about having a good future, they want to be educated and make a successful career.
