NBC News To Get Its Own Web Site

NBC News, which shares a site with MSNBC, is getting a Web site all its own, reports Politico. The network has hired a new press rep who is charged with ramping up press coverage through the November election for MSNBC.com and "introduce/promote/roll out/etc. what will be NBCNews.com." Currently set to debut in September, it would allow NBC News to separate from its sister cabler.
