BC To Provide 3,500 Hours Of Live-Streamed Olympics Content Across Devices for Pay-TV Subscribers
Lost Remote, Thursday, June 28, 2012 1:47 PM
NBC on Wednesday said that more than 3,500 hours of live-streamed Olympics content would be available at NBCOlympics.com and on mobile devices through NBC apps that will launch in July.
However, through a process the network is calling “TV Anywhere,” users will need to provide their pay-TV details that include a subscription to NBC, CNBC and MSNBC if they want to watch any of it.
As Gary Zenkel, president of NBC Olympics, says, “(It) truly represents the ultimate opportunity for the cable/satellite/telco industry to demonstrate the value of TV Everywhere.”
