Guarantee Digital announced Tuesday that Peter Herschberger has joined their Digital Marketing and Solutions team, which is opening an office in the San Francisco Bay Area. Herschberger will be working with local media companies looking to grow their businesses through social, mobile, video marketing and more.

Herschberger is looking forward to helping the local media companies get their foot in the door when it comes to digital services. "I realized that quietly in every US Market and right under the noses of established local media companies, local merchants are beginning to make serious investment in digital services," said Herschberger in the statement.

“Pete was a natural fit for our team," said Daryl Hively CEO of Guarantee Digital in the statement. Herschberger has many contacts with Bay Area media companies, as he has previously served as VP Marketing for the San Jose Mercury News, VP Sales and Marketing for the San Francisco Examiner, and VP Advertising and Marketing for the Contra Costa Newspaper Group. 

Because of this, Hively called Herschberger, “the obvious choice for our West Coast office.”
