Last week, Emeryville-based video marketing company TubeMogul announced that Russ Fradin will serve on TubeMogul’s board. Fradin is the former Co-Founder and CEO of Adify, which sold to Cox Enterprises for $300 million last year.

“TubeMogul is the de facto early leader in real-time buying of video,” said Fradin in a statement. “I’m excited to join the team.”

TubeMogul CEO and Co-Founder Brett Wilson believes Fradin had multiple companies he could have joined, and is happy that Fradin chose TubeMogu. Wilson said in a statement, “Fradin obviously has his pick to join many top companies’ boards.”

The company says that Fradin will inform strategy as they scale their real-time media buying platform for video ads. TubeMogul is one of five companies that served more than one billion video ads last month according to comScore.
