Fischer To Carmichael Lynch Chief Strategy Officer

Interpublic’s Carmichael Lynch has appointed Marcus Fischer to the newly created position of chief strategy officer, managing partner at the agency. Fischer will be responsible for leading the agency’s insights, product development, user experience, marketing analytics and overall brand strategy. The shop’s clients include Subaru of America and Jack Link’s Beef Jerky. The appointment marks the return of Fischer to the agency. Previously, he held a senior-level position in the agency’s brand planning department before leaving in 2008 to assume the role of president at digital shop space150. He reports to agency CEO Mike Lescarbeau.
