Responding to social media comments will carry the same weight in 2014 as telephone or email enquiries do now,internetretailing.net reports. The claim comes from technology researcher Gartner, that suggests the way social media is used will change as both consumers and businesses become more familiar with it. As this happens, more consumers will take to social platforms for complaints, queries and general customer service interactions.
