Gail A. Sullivan, senior vice president of daytime sales at ABC TV and SOAPnet, died Saturday. Ms. Sullivan was 52 and a resident of Ossining, N.Y.

Ms. Sullivan had been senior vice president since April 2002, when she was promoted as vice president and director, Daytime Sales, a job she held since August 1993. She joined ABC in 1990 as an account executive for News, Early Morning and Late-Night Sales and became a senior account executive for primetime sales in March 1993.

"We've lost not only a talented and dedicated sales executive, but also a wonderful friend and colleague," Shaw said in a prepared statement.

A New York native, she held a bachelor of science degree in economics from Herbert H. Lehman College in New York. She was a budget and cost analyst at United Hospital in Portchester, N.Y., and branch manager for the American Savings Bank in New York before joining NW Ayer in 1977. She rose to the position of vice president, broadcast supervisor, before joining ABC in 1990. Ms. Sullivan is survived by her mother, Ann, and her companion, Ralph Gorthey.
