LA Governor Signs Law Limiting Mobile Ad Billboards

Patch reported that Los Angeles is cracking down on mobile advertising on billboards. "Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation to tightend mobile billboard restrictions and strengthen the City of Los Angeles' enforcement of its local ban," Patch reports.

“People want these dangerous and ugly signs gone,” said Assemblymember Bob Blumenfield, author of the lesgislation.  “By signing this bill, the governor will help Los Angeles shut down the remaining mobile billboard operators who distort the law and tie up the city with frivolous lawsuits.  People are tired of this game and this bill puts the city on top.”
