Cisneros' RedMas Acquires Kontextua, Expands Digital Hispanic Presence

RedMas, the digital ad unit of the Cisneros Group of Cos., announced the acquisition of Kontextua, an online ad company operating a nework of contextual advertising in Latin America and Spain. The acquisition boosts Cisneros's digital presence in the U.S. Hispanic market and Latin America.
As part of the deal, RedMas will invest $2 million in Kontextua to
create new digital ad platforms and extend the online network's reach in the U.S. Hispanic market, as well as Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia.
