Mondelez Buys Italian Biscuit Maker

Newly created Kraft spin-off Mondelez International is buying Italy's Vitasnella snack business from Danone SA.
Kraft had been producing Vitasnella biscuits and snacks under license since buying Danone's biscuit business 2007 (that business also includes brands such as Tuc and Lufor), reports Confectionary News.
Danone will retain the Vitasnella name for yogurt and cheese.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
