451 Marketing, a Boston-based public relations agency, is expanding to California and is opening a Los Angeles office. The office, which will be based in Santa Monica, will be overseen by agency partners Jay Symonds and Tanner Elton.

"We recognized an exciting opportunity, both for our clients and for our company," stated AJ Gerritson, founding partner of 451 Marketing. "There is an exploding tech startup scene here in Santa Monica."

"Our LA office will enable our teams to work directly with our West Coast clients," said Gerritson in the statement. "It will also allow us more face time with our West Coast media contacts and further our reach for the national brands we represent."
