Pringles has named Starcom USA its U.S. media agency of record. The move, which follows Pringle's acquisition from Procter & Gamble earlier this year, occured without a review. Starcom sister agency MediaVest had handled media-buying and GroupM's MediaCom unit handled media-planning. According AdViews, Pringles spent an estimated $35 million on media in 2011. The appointment builds on long-term relationship Starcom USA has had with Kellogg’s as its media agency of record.
