Apple Makes Splash on Top Global Brand List

The fourth annual listing of 100 Best Global Brands was unleashed by Interbrand and BusinessWeek, the team that ranks and publishes the list each year. Apple was a big player in 2004, making the largest jump overall, from No. 50 to No. 43. Interbrand cited their high brand loyalty and iPod sales as the key figures in the brand value jumping from $5.5 billion to $6.8 billion, a 24 percent rise.
