Gillette Goes To The Gridiron

  • November 27, 2012

Gillette is tying in to the NFL playoffs to tout its Fusion ProGlide razor via a spokesperson deal with Pro Bowl linebacker Clay Matthews. The “Gillette No Debate” program centers on an online forum on the men's grooming brand's Facebook page. The page urges pigskin fans to opine about gridiron issues for a chance at weekly prizes and a grand prize five-day trip to Super Bowl XLVII.

The effort includes online videos in which the Green Bay Packers player invites fans to present their best case on various topics. There will be a weekly winner by consumer vote with Matthews casting the ultimate vote.

The effort runs through January. Weekly prizes include Fusion ProGlide razors, signed Clay Matthews memorabilia, and NFL merchandise.
