In an interesting display of social media, U.S. White House officials published an infographic on Twitter highlighting tweets from Americans speaking out about what extending the middle-class tax cut would mean to them. About 235,000 Americans expressed their opinion. People shared thoughts on what they would do with the money, ranging from a "whole year's worth of diapers" and "gas to commute to work" to mortgage and car payments. About 160,000 have shared on Twitter what it means to them, using the hashtag #my2k.
