PriceGrabber just released its latest survey on holiday shopping, and reports that 78% of Americans are still out there shopping. And while 33% did take advantage of “Black Week” deals in November, 45% of the total sample of some 2,500 adults say they deliberately deferred the majority of their shopping into December. Of those, 48% say it’s a strategic move to get better deals, 25% say holiday ads give them good ideas for gifts, and 28% just procrastinate. Another 19% say they do so to specifically take advantage of free shipping days.
