TV Newser: NBCU, Disney, Sign Cable Deals

End-of year-cable deals: NBCUniversal signed with almost 1,000 independent cable operators for the NBCU portfolio, which includes MSNBC, Bravo and CNBC, "as well as a first-ever retransmission consent deal for NBC and Telemundo Owned Stations," writes TV Newser's Chris Arlens. And 70 different networks from Disney -- including ABC and multiple ESPN channels -- will be carried on cable operator Charter Communications.
