AccentHealth, a place-based television network in approximately 10,000 physicians' offices nationwide, Monday released a new audit from Nielsen Media Research showing a 17 percent increase in
viewership of its Waiting Room TV Network between the first quarter of 2004 and the fourth quarter of 2002. The network, which features healthy lifestyle programming produced by CNN, is estimated to
reach 9.5 million adults during an average four-week period. Based on the Nielsen estimates, AccentHealth projected it delivers an annual audience of 123.7 million adults, 72 percent of which are
women.
