Most Online Retailers Expect Sales To Soar

While high street shops are being hit by rising taxes and slowing sales, internet retailers have seen a bumper few months. A poll by Royal Mail found that the majority of owners of online shops expect this sales growth to continue into 2013. Traditional high street stores have closed in record numbers over the last year. In 2012, 52 chains comprising almost 4,000 individual shops collapsed, the highest number since 2008. More closures are predicted in 2013.
