Epix Deal Brings Movies, TV To PlayStation

Epix has signed a deal with Sony Computer Entertainment. It allows subscribers to access 3,000+ movies and other titles via the PlayStation3 and PlayStation Vita game systems, reports Multichannel News. This extends its TV Everywhere efforts. Epix is the first TV network to bring an authenticated app to the PS3, which launches in the first quarter. Epix, a joint venture of Viacom's Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Lionsgate, is available to 30 million homes.
