Rubicon Adds Two Top Execs, Points Towards Independence

  • January 30, 2013

Rubicon Project had added Greg Raifman as president and Todd Tappin as COO/CFO. These two hires fuel speculation that Rubicon is looking to stay independent rather than being acquired by Yahoo.

“Rubicon Project is automating all digital advertising just as Overture did for search,” stated Tappin. “I look forward to working with the strong leadership team to further Rubicon Project’s goal of automating the ad industry, and finish what Frank and I started back in 2000," stated Raifman.

Raifman is the founder and former CEO of Mediaplex and Tappin is the former CEO of SocialVibe and former founding CFO of Overture.

Included in the hires was the announcement that General Counsel Victoria von Szeliski has been given the additional title of EVP, Culture and Business Affairs.
