Florida City Offers Decade Of Vacations
Experience Kissimmee, the tourism marketing arm of Osceola County, Fla., is launching an online contest.
The grand prize winner in “Decade of Kissimmee Memories” will receive 10 vacations to the Central Florida vacation destination.
To enter the contest, entrants are invited to write a story about how he or she would spend a decade of vacations in Kissimmee. Experience Kissimmee will then select 25 semifinalist entrants to bring their story to life with the destination’s Memory Maker Starter Kit containing a video camera and props from area attractions at www.decadeofmemories.com.
Five finalist videos will be posted on Experience Kissimmee’s Facebook Page where the public will vote for their favorite entrant to win the grand prize: 10 Kissimmee vacations with airfare, vacation villa accommodations at Westgate Resorts, and a rental car for the winner and up to five guests.
More than six million annual travelers visit Kissimmee to vacation. The city is minutes from Orlando’s theme parks and other entertainment options include outdoor adventures on ziplines and airboats to exceptional dining, shopping and championship golf.
“The Decade of Kissimmee Memories contest is an unprecedented chance to experience all our remarkable destination offers,” said Experience Kissimmee Executive Director Shelley Maccini in a release. “For those who dream about creating unforgettable vacation memories, we are excited to share this opportunity with you and we cannot wait to meet the winner who will be our guest for the next 10 years.”
The contest runs through Feb. 28. It is open to legal U.S. residents age 21 and older.
